3. Your colleague profile and privacy

Colleague profiles help people recognise and contact others in their workplace. They are available only where your organisation enables them and your access allows you to view them. Profiles are not public web pages.

What colleagues can see

A limited profile can show your display name, job title, department and venue. You may also choose to add a photograph, a short biography of up to 200 characters, and interests or skills. You can leave optional fields blank and remove them later without losing ordinary access to Orgacha.

Your organisation decides whether profiles are disabled, limited to an assigned venue structure or visible across its workspace. Guests do not receive profile-directory access by default.

What a profile does not reveal

The colleague profile does not show your personal email address, personal phone number, home address, date of birth, shift schedule, HR records, attendance or performance information, training progress, private-message history or system access level.

If a profile includes workplace posts, you can see only posts you already have permission to view. Opening a profile does not unlock restricted content. A message action follows the existing messaging permissions.

Choose what you add

Keep optional information suitable for an internal workplace profile. Avoid confidential business information, personal contact details, passwords, precise working schedules and sensitive personal information. Only upload a photograph you are entitled to use.

Correcting details or reporting a concern

Use the profile-editing controls to change or remove optional information. Ask your organisation’s administrator to correct workplace details you cannot change yourself. Use the profile-reporting control to flag inappropriate content; if it is unavailable, contact your administrator or info@orgacha.com.

What happens when you leave?

Disabled or offboarded accounts are hidden from normal profile and directory access. This does not mean every underlying record or backup is immediately erased. Retention and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy; ask your organisation about your workplace records.
