2. Understanding roles and permissions

Your access level determines what you can do in Orgacha. Your job title describes your work. A title such as Shift Manager, Deputy Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager, MD or CEO does not automatically grant an access level.

The access levels

Access levelWhat it means
GuestLimited access to the areas explicitly made available to you.
Team MemberEveryday workplace access to the content and features available to you.
SupervisorAdditional supervisory access within your assigned scope.
ManagerAdditional management access within your assigned scope, including invitations for lower access levels where permitted.
Venue AdministratorAdministration for assigned venues and their permitted descendants, subject to hierarchy rules.
Area AdministratorAdministration across the assigned area or venue structure, subject to hierarchy rules.
Organisation AdministratorOrganisation-wide administration, subject to owner-only actions and hierarchy rules.
Organisation OwnerOverall organisation responsibility, including customer billing and ownership decisions.

Why can a colleague see something I cannot?

Access also depends on your assigned venue or area, the audience of the content, your organisation’s settings and its plan. A higher access level does not automatically open every private conversation or restricted item.

Moderation and changes to access

Moderation is an additional responsibility. It does not automatically give someone wider member-management powers. Ask your organisation’s administrator if your role or assigned scope is wrong, or if you need access for your work. You cannot grant yourself a higher access level.
