4. Seats, plans and billing
A seat is a place in your organisation’s subscription. Your organisation purchases a number of seats and uses them for its members. The Organisation Owner manages purchases and subscription changes.
What uses a seat?
- An active employee uses a seat.
- A pending invitation reserves a seat, even before the person accepts it.
- An offboarded employee no longer uses a seat.
Removing or offboarding a person frees capacity for someone else. It does not automatically reduce the number of seats purchased, lower your subscription charge or create a refund.
Plans and minimum seats
Basic and Premium have a minimum of 15 purchased seats. Enterprise arrangements are set out in your agreement. See the current pricing page and checkout for prices and the amount payable before you purchase.
Your plan also affects organisation structure: Basic uses a virtual Head Office; Premium supports up to two direct venues without nesting; Enterprise supports the venue structure agreed in its contract.
Adding seats
If there is no free capacity, the Organisation Owner can purchase additional seats. Additional seats are billed; Basic and Premium do not include unlimited extra seats. Charges for added seats are prorated for the remaining billing period. They follow the existing billing cadence and, for annual subscriptions, the existing renewal date.
Monthly and annual billing
Monthly and annual subscriptions have different billing periods. Where an annual price is shown as a monthly equivalent, that is a comparison figure: the subscription is billed annually. Check the checkout and subscription details for your actual payment schedule.
Changing a subscription or querying a charge
Ask your Organisation Owner about invoices, adding or reducing purchased capacity, changing plans, renewal or cancellation. Available changes and when they take effect depend on your subscription terms and the options shown in billing. Do not assume a change applies immediately or includes a refund.
Organisation Administrators may view billing information where permitted, but owner-only billing changes remain with the Organisation Owner. For a technical billing problem, the owner can raise a support ticket or contact info@orgacha.com. Never send full card details.
